In this new creation Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten apply the comic yardstick to their internationally successful, four-part Dante cycle. After HELL, [purgatory] IN VISIONE, [purgatory] POPOPERA and you PARA | DISO, matters are turned around: La Commedia throws a different light on earthly existence and the promise of an afterlife. The performance shows us a circus arena as if it were a world of its own, in which characters of different colour, energy and strength are presented to entertain and confront the audience. Humour and acerbity dominate the show, as a weapon against the pathos of the present times.
