Q: Who can get a The Hague Student Card?
A: Students that study at a university in The Hague or live in The Hague but study somewhere else, can get a The Hague Student Card.
Q: I lost my card, what to do now?
A: Did you lose your card? Please send an email containing your name and address details to info@dehaagsestudentenpas.nl. We will send you a new card as soon as possible. Did you activate your card at the Library? Please call 070-353 44 55. They will block your card to make sure no one abuses your card, because you're always responsible for the materials borrowed with your card. This also applies to when you lose the card.
Q: I found my card, what do I do?
A: You will have to activate your card at the library again. This is the same procedure as the first time you activated your The Hague Student Card. Please bring a valid ID or passport and a document that states your current address, for example a phone bill. The moment you activate your card again, you may use it as a library card again.
Q: Besides the municipality of The Hague, which other parties are part of The Hague Student Card?
A: The Hague Student Card is taken over from the municipality of The Hague by The Global Guest Card. ACKU culture bureau and the library of The Hague are partners of this Card. There are a lot of universities in The Hague that support this initiative.
Q: How does the cooperation with CJP work?
By working together with CJP you have the added bonus that you get CJP discounts and privileges throughout the entire country. Your new The Hague Student Card entitles you to discounts at movies theatres, festivals, museums, travels, games, clothing etc.
